UK Supporters/Giftaid

The background

As many people will know, UK registered charities can claim ‘gift aid’ - a tax benefit which effectively increases an individual donation by 25p for every £ 1.00 donated - a great help, as you can imagine. To qualify, donors need to confirm that they will pay enough tax to cover every donation they make in a tax year (i.e. from 6th April one year to 5th April the following year) to all the charities that they support, bearing in mind that certain taxes, such as VAT and Council Tax do not count.

Updated Gift Aid Declaration

We are issuing updated Gift Aid declarations in accordance with guidelines from the HMRC and would ask that if you receive one, please complete it and return it to us as soon as possible. With apologies for any inconvenience, we thank you very much and appreciate your support and your kind attention to this important matter.

Any changes

Please let us know if you have a new address or a change in circumstance which means that your donations are no longer eligible for gift aid.  You can contact us by telephone, email or by post.   Many thanks !

American Fund For Charities

US Supporters

PKCF is eligible to receive grants from American Fund for Charities who are registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a charitable organization, described in Section 501(c)(3). Donors may claim the maximum tax benefits allowed by law for their contributions without the need for equivalency affidavits, letters of council or expenditure responsibility. If you are a US Taxpayer and would like to make a donation, please complete the American Fund for Charities Gift Form. A PDF* of the form can be downloaded by clicking here or on the link below. Funds raised in the US will not be allocated to projects where there are trade sanctions in place by the US government. Such funds are held in a restricted account and used in accordance with US regulations.
